PENDANTS Pendant 1: Sterling silver and turquoise. Approximately 5cm diameter
		from the series “Turquoise Pools” This series of turquoise disc pendants was inspired by the tropical, aquatic tones of these circular stones. Natural (not stabilized) turquoise, a favored stone throughout Mediterranean antiquity and Southwestern Native American cultures, captures an abstract glimpse of aquatic land and life from the surface of water. Sterling Silver, as a symbol of human strength and the desire to control of the power of nature’s waters, captures and binds the life of the seas in a small circular pool. There are currently 15 pieces in this series.
